The conceptual, detailed, and execution-level geotechnical design for the City of Sisak Wastewater Treatment Plant comprises:
1) construction of surface drainage channels,
2) execution of 6 open-cut excavation pits,
3) construction of 18 wastewater treatment plant structures,
4) construction of flood protection embankments.
The detailed design includes the following calculations: bearing capacity and stability analyses; consolidation and settlement analyses for all structures and embankments; uplift stability analyses for all structures; and bearing capacity calculations for tension piles to ensure uplift stability.
