The preliminary and detailed geotechnical design for the reconstruction and expansion of the “Ivanja Reka” interchange comprises:
1) the reconstruction and expansion of the “Ivanja Reka” interchange,
2) the construction of the “Otok Svibovski” interchange,
3) the construction of the new “Hrušćica” crossing.
The preliminary design includes the following calculations: bearing capacity and stability analyses, consolidation and embankment settlement analyses on both improved and unimproved subsoil, as well as bearing capacity and settlement calculations for the piles supporting the bridges and overpasses.
