Remediation works on the right-bank Sava levee in the Glina settlement, spanning from km 106+200 to km 106+600, comprised the following:
- TYPE 1: improvement of the foundation soil through the installation of jet-grouted columns with a diameter of 80 cm and an average length of approximately 7.0 m; and
- TYPE 2: levee remediation involving the stepped excavation of the existing levee to create a bonding surface between the old and new fill material. The steps are constructed with a minimum width of 2.0 m and a height of approximately 1 m, with the excavated face inclined at a 1:2 slope. A foundation bench is formed on the riverside by excavating the foundation soil as an extension of the stepped excavation of the existing levee.
The works were carried out in 2022 and 2023.
